Bill thanks for providing this detailed logical information. I also purchased 19-19-19 and was wondering the same so now have adjusted the quantity for the weekly feed.

Do NOT adjust the quantities of fertilizers when using 19-19-19. You can use any NPK blend from 13-13-13 to 19-19-19, and the only change you make is in the number of feedings. If using 13-13-13 you would likely need to feed an extra time, and if using 19-19-19 you may be able to skip one feeding.
