No, they will not necessarily come. You must purchase them, or some
people catch swarms of bees, but you may need some help with that. Of course,
you will also need to at least watch to see how to install a package of
bees. There is a lot more to beekeeping than just building the hive bodies.
Your plants will be pollinated by other bees, as they fly three or more
miles looking for nectar and pollen. There are many other pollinators
including yellow jackets, wasps, bumblebees, and mason bees, but honey bees are
the most prolific as they must store enough honey in the hive to survive the
winter. If they do not, they may perish if you do not feed them over the
winter. VERY much to learn, but I enjoy learning and doing beekeeping! My
main purpose in keeping bees is to help them and to help my garden produce
better.
