[MittleiderMethodGardening] Slug Attack? How To Control?
I have used finely ground egg shells, applied around the base of the plant
that is being attacked. Also, before applying the eggshells, spray or
splash the plants with a mildly soapy water, even dishwater, then put the
eggshells around the base of the plant. If the eggshells are dry, they will
stick to the slug, and they can be sharp to the body of the slug and they
won't like it. That is the most inexpensive way I have done it. I dry the
shells first, microwave if possible then crush them up finely however you
like. I use a food processor/chopper.
