[MittleiderMethodGardening] More on Healthy Eating

On the subject of longevity and what you eat mentioned by Jim:

Here is a link on a presentation done on TED about the longevity of life.

http://www.tvkim.com/watch/415/kims-picks-learn-the-secrets-of-longevity

This presentation covered those who live the longest on the planet and their
lifestyles. They chose 4 distinct demographic and geographic groups. What
they eat and how they live. Also, what the groups have in common between
each other.

There was one program on national geographic that talked about it also.

The Danish twin study found that only 10% of how long the average person
lived is dictated by their genes (which can be turned on and off by epigenes
other research shows) the rest is dictated by their lifestyle.

In addition: off topic of longevity but related to the interest to health
and what you eat. It is important to eat from the garden also because it is
not processed.

I recently read that a lot of high fructose corn syrup has mercury in it.
And how much processed food doesn't have high fructose corn syrup? Probably
not so much:

You may be surprised at what behaviors mercury poisoning can cause in
people.

Blessings,

Faye
