[MittleiderMethodGardening] Re: DEHYDRATOR - (Shouldn't be be getting a commission? - JK)

We bought a Weston Stainless Steel dehydrator. It appears to have the same design as the Excaliber but has a 1000 watt heating element and a powerful fan. It has 10 racks and a total area of 15 sq. ft .of drying space. Have been using it for about a month and love it! Paid $199. on ebay for a reconditioned unit with a new warranty. This is much better than our round 8 tray American Harvest dehydrator.

> I have an excalibur dehydrator it is the best out there, free shipping, its around 180.00$ but its worth it especially when you spend a lot of money and time on your garden, it has a heating element in the back so all the trays get equal amount of heat and air. It has 9 trays and you can also regulate temp which you can not on the round dehydrators, and none of the food can drip on the heating element, also you can dry foods under 120 degrees which is considered raw.
