[MittleiderMethodGardening] Picking Tomato Vines

 

I don't ripen on the vine. My daughter likes fried green tomatoes, so anything salvageable goes to her. I do pick some that are starting to turn red, and they sit on my kitchen counter time they turn very red, and we eat them. The pulp and seeds are drying up, but the tomato meat is still juicy, or else they go to fried tomatoes or diced in Chile or sauces. Nothing goes to waste....Linda B
