Yes, that's mainly it. However, it's best to have a temperature
regulator also. Herbs should be dried at as low a temp as possible --
85-90 F. Vegetables 115-125; fruits 125-135. If you'd like to do jerky,
that would be 160F.

lots of information on dehydrating and best ways to slice foods evenly
