Re: [MittleiderMethodGardening] Open suggestions on handling Herbs and spices and steaming vegs
Bryan,
I can tell you with pride, I am the same way with my microwave. I use steam bags you should be able to find them in with ziplock type bags, I believe ziplock makes them but maybe some other major brand. the directions are on the side and I usually try for about 30 seconds less, but that is my microwave. I know alot of microwave cooking is experimentation. different times and different cooking levels due to the differences in microwaves, I hope you get info that you are looking for
I try to be so tough, but I am not strong enough. i can't do this alone. SAVIOR please keep holding me.
I am your creator. You were in my care even before you were born. Isaiah 44:2

l'm experimenting with growing herbs and some spices including garlic, basil, cilantro, coriander, parsley, chives, dill, oregano, etc. etc. etc... l would appreciate any suggestions or ideas on how to preserve em, or process for storage, also someone mentioned about a month ago, they microwaved ( steamed ) their vegetables.. l have not been able to master this, ( typical male, l guess ), either uncooked or way over-cooked, so l would like to hear from tnose that do and how they go about it....
l know this is a reach outside of this group, but l would really like being able to share ideas or things that others do, that might help others dealing with difficulties that they have... l hope this is acceptable with the group...
many thanks, happy gardening, Bryan
