[MittleiderMethodGardening] grow box sawdust

having a hard time finding sawdust for my grow boxes. all the saw mills near me (50 mile radius) only use bandsaws (have switched from the big round sawblade to bandsaw) which produce a very fine sawdust which I have read will not work in grow beds. have a few planer mills which have sawdust with small chips in it which they say will not work either. as most sawmills are going to bandsaw operations it will be harder and harder to get sawdust.

Is there a substitute for the sawdust or a different kind which is available? I have tomatoes that need to be in ground ( 40 plants 4 ft tall and in 6" pots and pulling blooms off plants every day)  but cannot find right sawdust
to fill new grow boxes.

Thanks for your help,

George Jones
