Re: [MittleiderMethodGardening] Preparedness University (PREP U
I forwarded your message on to others, but the information is rather vague. Can you give us a sampling of the type of topics you may be covering? How many people are you planning on serving at a time and what would the sleeping accommodations be? Would a motor home be a possibility so that more people could attend if housing is tight? would this be a few days or a week of classes?
Thanks for that productive feedback
Preparedness topics are still up for discussion - we will welcome suggestions. Gardening will be one major topic for sure, with gardens and greenhouses going year-round.
Motor Homes can be accommodated, but numbers will be limited at the beginning
Accommodations will be spartan - Dorms for men and women, with large shower toilet rooms for each. This place was previously a school for youth.
We hope to have 100 - 200 people in residence at any one time.

We've purchased a great old school on 15 acres in NW Missouri - in a tiny community of 250 called Kidder - and we will be turning it into a "Vacation" Destination for you to come and really learn how to take care of yourselves and your families. Food and lodging will be included, as well as the materials for every subject you choose to learn.
We will be inviting a few couples with the right expertise, physical and financial capacity, and the commitment to making a real difference, to join us as resident experts.
We will also be inviting guest experts in many disciplines of preparedness.
And we will be inviting ALL of you to join us to learn and practice the areas of preparedness in which you have the greatest interest and need.
Spread the word to all you know and care about. Help us find the very best people to staff Prep U, and plan your vacations around your own participation next year!
