[MittleiderMethodGardening] ? on prices of Fertilizers
Hi Jim,
I just got of the phone with the local Elevator; they sell seed, feed,
fertilizers for agriculture. I'm wondering in $1 a pound for boron and $.80
for magnesium sulfate is a good price?
Thanks,

Those prices are not bad. However while you're asking see if you can get Granusol Magnesium, or Magnesium Sucrate, or another blend that is higher than 10%.
The problem people have with Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate - mgso4.7h2o) is the 7 parts of water for each one part of magnesium makes your mixed fertilizer susceptible to getting wet and sticky when it gets hot or humid.
The solution to that problem if you do have to use Epsom Salt is to add 1# of Perlite to 60# of Weekly Feed mix.
