[MittleiderMethodGardening] Worst Gardening Problem

Pretty scary! Bugs in February! My fruit trees are blooming too early. I am afraid I will be frosted out with cold snaps that always happen in April
. Diatomaceous earth is more affordable at the feed store. It is used around stables for flies and such.

Free manure. Horse people do not think of burmuda grass as a weed, Feed is thru the roof and the Burmuda blended feed is cheaper. I composted it good , but not good enough! I wish I had a magic pill to get rid of it.

I had great results with worm tea last year. It probably lacks something. But I am expanding on worms this year.

Bruce & Group:

Hopefully the BAD bugs will be frozen out after coming out of hibernation.

Feed store DE just should not be used for feed.

Free manure is certainly not free. It's not free of weed seeds, not free of bugs, and often not free of diseases.

And like manure, worm tea is an unknown. No one can tell you the nutrient composition. Worms are nice, but I recommend you not roll the dice on your garden. Feed your plants exactly what they need.
