Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

We have lots of hanging baskets and pots for flowers on the deck and
all around the house. watering was a real pain. My wife would usually
spend about an hour every morning watering everything. If she was gone
I DESPISED wasting that much time. Last summer we were going to be
gone a lot, so it was either come up with a better method or don't
plant them.

I got a timer from ace hardware made for drip systems, put in a drip
system. Set it to run for 20 minutes twice a day. We had the best
looking flowers we have ever had.

One of the drip manufactures has some 1/4" tubing with a little laser
slice about every six inches. I puts out very consistent amount of
water. I used this on some raspberries several years ago with
excellent results. 40' is about the max you can use in each run. But
you could have dozens of runs off of each 1/2" main. I tried the 1/4"
recycled soaker hose and on a low pressure system it is no good. (I do
like the garden hose size with full pressure)
