[MittleiderMethodGardening] yellow squash - No Female Blossoms
I have a question..my friend has yellow crook neck squash which has nothing but male blossoms..no females and no squash. I have no clue what causes this and what can be done to prevent it. Thanks. We live in Colorado..

Femals blossoms come later than males - if your plants have just recently started to flower just wait a few days. Some folks report that very wit weather also can slow the appearance of females.
Can you do anything to warm the temperatures? Squash do best in WARM weather, and Colorado, especially in the mountains, tends to be cool. Consider giving your plants some cover to keep them warmer if the weather is cool - or dryer if you have too much rain.
