I read one guy's comment somewhere about this. He said that Sure-Gel requires the addition of sugar to activate it. Not being a cook really,
I don't know if this is actually so. What do you think?
If I let the grapes hang long enough I would think that the natural sugars should be enough.
I asked the grape growing guru Lon Rombough what he thought about making unsweetened grape preserves & he said that he thought that the grapes have enough Pectin on their own to jell. He recommends just
reducing them down with low heat. I wonder how it would keep in the bottles. Time for some experimention.
