Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

Hi,

My MIL who was raised in TN on the farm during the depression told me the other
day that they had a terrific hailstorm that tore up their tomatoes one year and
her mother went out and pulled all the leaves off except the very top ones and
dug a little trench in the row. She then buried the stems up to the leaves and
they all came back strong. She said (and does) that you can take any broken part
and put it in a clear glass with water and set it in the window where it gets
sun and it will root.
