[MittleiderMethodGardening] Az tomatoes in the fall
This is my first year using the mitteider method and my az garden is doing fantastic.I will soon post my pictures as soon I figure out how to do it. My tomatoes are still growing and still fruiting in the high heat. Now they are about 5 to 6 feet tall. I am sure the tomatoes will survive for the fall garden but I have a question.....I pinched out all the suckers and the plant is still setting flowers and fruits on the top of the plant. For my fall garden do I need to replant new tomatoes plants or do I let the suckers grow on the tall tomato plant.?
Why not just let the growing tip continue to grow?? You can have tomato plants 15-25' long, if you gently lower them as they grow.
