Lack of calcium and unevening water is usually the cause of blossom end
rot.

There is a product called Foli Cal you can use to supplement your plants
calcium needs.

Also, how about trying something simple like sprinkling just a bit of
powdered dry milk and watering it in at the soil level. Not sure how much but
start small.

I keep all of my plants evenly moist and do not ever allow them to really
dry out thus avoiding the blossom end rot problem. There are so many
different ideas as to how much water plants need. Some people I know don't
water their tomatoes after a certain date and swear by this method. To each
his own. Go to Google and see what the experts say.

The above has worked for me but I am no expert.
