Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

This week your Family Garden Doctor will interview a good gardener by the name of Ernie Shivers. He is NOT a Mittleider gardeners, so be sure and join us as we discuss the different methods, and their effects on yield, taste, etc.!

Ernie has been an avid gardener for years. He has a half-acre garden area where he grows tomatoes, corn, okra, squash, butter beans, butter peas, peppers, lettuce, sweet potatoes, onions and figs. He reoirts that every summer people begin calling or visiting to see how the tomatoes are coming and if they can pick a few. Some ask how he grows tomatoes and he always gives them some tips.
