RE: [MittleiderMethodGardening] seed saving

Yes you can. Here are some other ideas:

Storing Seeds

1. Find a clean, air-tight container like a quart mason jar with lid.

2. Place rice or powdered milk in the bottom of the jar (just enough to
cover the bottom of the jar). This will absorb any moisture in the air.

3. Place seed packets into jar and seal lid tightly.

4. Place jar in a cool, dark place with a fairly constant temperature such
as a cupboard or basement. Seeds may also be stored in a fridge or freezer.

Avoid wide temperature fluctuations as this will decrease the life of the
seeds.

Subject: [MittleiderMethodGardening] seed saving

Would it work to save seeds to put packages in a glass jar and seal them
with a vacuum sealer? If so, would it work long term or short term?
