[Organic_Gardening] MY AWESOME REPORT ON MY SEEDS GERMINATING
Well I can't believe my eyes. I was not going to look after 1 day, but my curiosity got the best of me. I looked and I thought I was seeing things. I had to take my glasses off and look down on top of them to actually believe what I was seeing. You have to understand I have never done this before. I filled 1 - 6x12, 72 slot tray with a mix of humus, peat, and vermiculite and I pressed down on each one slightly to remove any air pockets. Next I used a sifter and sifted in a separate container my mix which was real fine. Then I covered the tray to the top with the fine mix. Then I used a toothpick and I marked off on it 1/8", 1/4", 1/2" and 1" with a thin marker. I then made wholes to the proper debt for each seed as I planted each, after which I covered up the holes with my fingers and tapped them down slightly. I placed it in a water tray which I filled with 1/2 to 3/4 inch (I couldn't well make out exactly) of very warm "not hot" filtered water. Then I cover it up with a humidity clear plastic dome and proceeded to put it on a heat mat. I also played classical music each morning and evening for 2-3 hours with speakers right next to it. The rest is history.
