[MittleiderMethodGardening] Re: What is Seed Inoculant

From what I understand (and I am no expert, someone can correct me on this), inoculant is an organic booster that contains nitrogen-fixing bacteria that enable beans and peas to convert and use nitrogen in the atmosphere. It helps to produce a sturdier plant with a heavier yield. I sprinkle it into the hole when planting peas, but I don't use it for any other seed. I'd be interested in hearing about your results of the treated vs untreated when harvest time comes.
