Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

I used plastic trash cans to bring home township mulch.  I caught poison ivy from the last batch.
 
My question is... how do I clean the trashcans of the poison ivy oils so I do not get poison ivy again from touching the barrels.  Is there any spray that will dissolve the oils, or is there a solution with which I can wash them.?
