[Organic_Gardening] Re: Fire Ants
It's ILLEGAL in my area. I don't think this is something that should be promoted. Suggesting to people to pour gasoline on an ant hill is not a good idea and opens the door to disaster. Anything can happen when dealing with matches, fire and gasoline. Things such as an out of control blaze, especially being so many areas are in a serious drought I would hate to think of anyone having their face blown off for using this method. As they say, never listen to all you hear on the internet.
BTW,
I did not have a question so I have no idea why thought I had one for you to answer. I know how to deal with fire ants in a safe matter.

Make sure the peals are small enough so the ants can take them inside the hive. They will feed them to the queen and each other and soon your hive is gone.
