Re: [MittleiderMethodGardening] What could I have done?
I have been searching the net for corn ear worm control. an article on cotton bowievels caught my interest. Same bug different crop. The guy spays his cotton with garlic spray and is so happy he has expanded. I don't know if the smell throws them off.? He sprays several times at certain stages. I am going to give it a go? I happen to like garlic but I hope it does effect the taste of the corn.

I can not wait to hear this one! I have 600+ stocks just starting to silk, I do not see my self keeping track and oiling everyone of them

Bruce & Group:
I have successfully prevented corn ear worms by dusting the silks with Diazanon.
It doesn't seem to be available lately - probably someone has outlawed it. Anyone else know something to replace it?
