We can only hope this is the beginning of a trend. They forgot to mention that among Monsanto's "insiders" in government is the illustrious Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas...never guess who he was legal advisor to before becoming a justice...yep, good ol' Monsanto.
I noted during a recent trip to the garden supply that Bayer, of pharmaceutical fame before it was taken under Monsanto's wing, has begun to market herbicides and insecticides in a pretty big way. The big tobacco companies (of which Monsanto affiliates were key) began to diversify when they could no longer conceal the poison and lies they had been spreading among people, too....(sadly, most of them went into food "manufacturing"). And i believe it is no accident that our obesity and food addictions have grown to epidemic proportions since that time.
Fortunately we are blessed with people like Mittleider and Kennard to provide us with ways to avoid falling victim any longer.
