Yes, it is an antifungal, antibacterial and antiviral from my study and
experience.

Silver has been around a long time-

Silver Sulfadene has been used for many years to treat burns in the
healthcare setting. It prevents infections that are very difficult to avoid
in severe burn situations and helps heal.

Also when babies are born they use silver nitrate to kill any infections
that might occur that could cause blindness from contact from a mother that
might be infected. Usually this is related to a potential STD infection.

In addition, the healthcare field used to use it for sterilizing equipment.
I don't know if they do since they also have Betadine and other alternatives
that are easily available and probably less expensive.

If colloidal silver is diluted correctly it can be used to treat eye
infections (like silver nitrate does I suppose). I have used it for that
purpose on several occasions. My family contracted strep one year and as I
fought to keep from succumbing (thankfully I succeeded) to the sickness I
realized my next battle was to keep it out of my eyes. As the symptoms in my
eyes increased-the usual-I began putting colloidal silver in my eyes every
time they itched. In 24 hours the symptoms decreased and by 48 hours it was
gone. An eye doctor prescribed it for me one time for an eye infection
because they do not have anything to treat viral eye infections only
bacterial.

I have not been able to find any negative side effects except if you take an
exceedingly unnecessary amount of it, it will turn your skin a gray color.
That is in extreme cases. I understand that is where the term blue blood
came from in the case of the royalty many years ago. They ate from true
silverware. interesting how phrases came into the English language we don't
know the origin of. There are quite a few I have been identifying as of late
but that is off topic.

Is anyone using or familiar with colloidal silver, either in the garden to
stop diseases, or in the home to heal or prevent disease?

I've been reading a lot about it this past few days and it sounds very
