[MittleiderMethodGardening] Eating Vegetables is Most Healthy - but not to extreme!

Hi Jim,

As much as I love growing and eating fresh veggies, I have learned that I need to eat more meat and fat, than veggies to stay healthy. Please look further than these self serving articles that slant things to make it look like vegans and vegitarians are the healthiest people on the planet. They aren't. I know because, my son and my brother died eating vegetables and fruit. They became convinced that eating meat wasn't healthy and it killed them. :(

Nan & Group:

Thank you for that clarification Nan! Everyone please note that I believe in eating meat "sparingly", not eliminating it altogether.

For example, last night (by the way, I am alone as my wife is in Armenia preparing to bring her mother home with her) I cooked a meal, which will last me 3 meals, that included string beans, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, sweet red pepper, onion, mushrooms, zucchini, and 2 small sausage patties, all cooked with an ounce of oil and 1/2 ounce of butter. I seasoned with a little salt and pepper and added parsley. It was delicious!

I would never have even known how to do this simple thing except for the example and coaching of my wonderful wife, Araksya, bless her heart. She is a WONDERFUL cook, and when she makes something great I encourage her to share it with the world.

If you're interested in learning how to use and enjoy more garden vegetables in your own cooking I invite you to visit Araksya's blog. It's www.recipeforeveryone.blogspot.com
