Re: [MittleiderMethodGardening] Storage Wheat - Unless you have gluten intolerance
Kathy:
I want to comment on your statements:
It is true that more people are discovering they suffer from gluten
intolerance.
It is *not *true that more people are hoarding wheat. Hoarding is
acquiring more than a reasonable amount of an item in short supply.
Wheat is now more expensive, but not yet in short supply--though it is
projected. This is a capitalist economy--for most of us! If you have the
money, you can get the goods! if you buys something (demand), someone
gets to replenish it (supply)! That's a JOB. We need more demand and
more supply to get the great nation back on its feet.
It's a languaging problem that needs some explication, but if everyone
in America actually began to gather in supplies for expected extended
shortfalls, we could begin to get ourselves out of debt--driving more
production, increasing jobs, kicking the economy in the behind, and
getting our population out of its "...government hand-out will take care
of me..." mentality!
Those are my comments!
