Hi Jim and group;

What size pipe should I use for the bed and how do I bring the water from the hose spiget to all of the connections at each bed?� I am new at this and It was very exhausting to water with the hose on rainless and hot days in ground that was not prepare like Food For Everyone's directions.� I am now planning to make all beds per your instructions, before next springs plantings.�

Go to the website http://foodforeveryone.org/gardening_course/ and look on the left side of the page. You'll see Chapter 16 of the Mittleider Gardening Course book. It has the plans for automating your garden's watering system.

The PVC pipes for the beds are 3/4", and the "Header" pipe should be at least that big, and bigger is better, if you can get a water source bigger than 3/4.

If you only have a hose bib, your source is only 1/2 to 5/8", and you'll only be able to water one 30-long bed at a time.
