Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

I don't know where the word "hoard" started in the discussions, but I don't
believe it applies to what any of us are doing. There is nothing wrong with
preparing & storing 1-2 year supply of everything or even more -
particularly if we plan to share & help others. The word 'hoard' is a
negative word & would apply to anyone storing very large amounts of
supplies. They may be doing it with the intent to make lots of money on the
misfortunes & poor planning of others or with the intent of getting it all
before others can, etc.

Since this does not apply to us & this discussion is not really pertinent to
the Mittleider Method of gardening, let's get back to gardening....

I put in one 4x12 fall garden box. We will hopefully have some peas &
spinach in several weeks.
It is still in the 90s here for at least several more days, so who knows
what this fall will bring as far as weather goes.
