[MittleiderMethodGardening] Controlling Nematodes
Elbon Rye, a grain rye, is also effective in controlling nematodes. I use it on the large tract (5 acres) of land cleared for future gardening. Plant it early as it is frost resistant and I till it under before the heads are ripe with seed as a conditioner for the soil. Out here in West Texas it's mostly sand so the organic matter improves it.
