I also had an American Harvest, that I loved but after a couple dozen years the temp regulator got stuck and melted the unit. I now own a 9 tray Excalibur with a timer. I love the fact that the front lifts off the unit. I set my temp at 125 for most things. I very seldom use the timer. I have had the Excalibur for the last 5 years it is a very good unit.
