[MittleiderMethodGardening] What should l coat my cold frame wood with ????
.. okkkk here goes... l'm building some cold frames using OSB board and re-useable alum. storm windows, l would like to coat the lumber with something to prolong its use .... someone suggested waterproof pool paint, but Lowe's pool paint goes for $ 39.00 a gallon.... kinda expensive.... so l'm opened to ideas... no boating establishments locally, so l'm stuck here... poss. just plain old exterior house paint ???? please reply. l'm located in Pennsylvania.. so it gets very cold and wet thru winter... treated lumber is way too pricey.... for two 4 x 15' frames... many thanks, happy gardening
