[MittleiderMethodGardening] Re: How Many Beds & How Many Vegetables Do You Grow?
I have a raised bed garden that has in it eight 4X4 garden beds. Some of the beds have permanent plants like asparagus growing in them, but most are peppers, squash, and corn, which has been destroyed by the wildlife around here. I have blackberries, now growing on the side of the garden plot, but, inside the garden area, many blackberry plants are shooting up and I have to cut them down or they will take up the whole garden area and I won't be able to get into the garden again. One time I let the garden go too long without weeding, and there were so many blackberries growing that you couldn't even walk around the garden area anymore. Next thing for me to do is to get fencing around the garden to keep the critters out. They are very destructive.
