Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

I already have a drip system set up. Is that going to work as well? I'm wondering if a six inch line will work better than a twelve inch line. Do you have any recommendations on that or should I jump in and re-do it to the Mittleider method?

I cannot recommend a drip system.

We always want to know how much water is getting to our plants' roots.  And we want it quickly, not taking as long as several hours.  We need to weed, and drip hoses are in the way.  They get plugged and your plants die before you realize they are not getting the necessary water.
