Re: [MittleiderMethodGardening] Re: Gardening in Houston/Sugar Land

Mr. Kennard, I hope to learn from this project and then take the knowledge of the project to our island in The Philippines. We have a small mission now, with about 40 people on an island of about 225,000 people. The local Gov. of the island has asked me to come up with a plan for the local people to follow,. I believe that your system will work in our area of The Philippines. If this system is half as easy as it looks in the You Tube clips on the net, our local people would be very interested. I have had several people on our island, review the clips on the internet. Is there any way you would consider giving our mission a pro bono copy of your guide. Is there any way, we could get a discount on the series. We have people in our area that live on very little and just a few vegetables a day, added to their diet would be a great improvement to the overall living situation. With our people making just 4 to 5 US$ worth of pesos, coming up with the cost of the guide and series will be tough. I may have to find the money from my meager income. We have about 1.3 hectares on our small mission in the islands. We have grown quail, turkeys, chickesn, ducks, pigeons, pigs, guinea hens, rabbits and other animals. We have learned to make soap, sausage and can vegetables and fruits. Thanks for the information on the recommended measurements for the outside measurements of the grow boxes. I am now looking for a source of where-with-all for inside the grow boxes. We hope to order some supplies next week. Thanks again for the direct reply. Blessings, Padre --------------------------------------------

You need to email me at info@foodforeveryone.org and we can talk about doing something to assist your group.
