making a new raspberry bed(everbearers)...

Four-foot bed/box with two rows or 18" one? 

Prep with pre-plant and weekly feed like other beds/boxes?

How far apart to plant them?

We had an established bed at the old farm, so i know how to prune and winter them over, just don't know how to start.

If you have the room for a 4'-wide box I'd probably go that way, and I'd plant 4 rows, with plants 18" apart in each row.  Obviously you will expect to prune, thin, etc. as you go.  Prep the soil the same as for a regular garden.
