[MittleiderMethodGardening] Re: Question about T posts
Hi Jim - I just read your answer to the laundry t post question. I had a couple thoughts/questions about this. Could we just use the t posts as is and then the greenhouse would just be shorter than usual? I ask this because I have worked, or it was more like wrestled with bags of concrete. It was years ago, but the memories are still quite vivid. The bags are so heavy and then once you add the water it is even more difficult to work. Plus there would be digging a hole in the ground for them. If having a shorter greenhouse is not a good idea, what about using 5 gall buckets on top of the ground, with the t post and concrete in them? It would still involve using concrete, but the hole digging would be eliminated and the concrete could be mixed in the bucket. Thanks for all your help Jim. You are such a generous person.

We do not cement the T-Posts in the ground. We just dig them 15" deep and tamp soil around them.
