Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

Very interesting--thanks for taking time for this, dear onion.  I do some of what you describe in my garden, but wasn't familiar with this name.  I haven't tilled since I first built my beds; I use straw as a heavy mulch to keep down weeds and sometimes over plant for the same reason, though this is problematic in rainy summers; and I only fertilize with compost, but the compost does have horse manure in it and I find this very useful; but I'm always concerned that my source for this wonderful compost may unwittingly use manure that has been contaminated with organophosphates.  When I retire at the end of the coming year, I'll spend some time researching synergism in the garden.  Thanks.
