Vegetables Gardening - Growing Organic Vegetables

Thank you for the welcome wishes Jeff, and Evelyn.

We are told by many that we live in paradise. Many want first chance
to buy our homestead when the time comes that we want to sell. They will be waiting for a some time if we live long. Even our USP driver wants our homestead.

Our cabin is made of two older mhs one a 78 14'x70', other is a 52 10'x50'. We connected them by backing the smaller one up to the
middle of the larger one. Its like a T shape. We put a metal roof
over all. We have a kitchen porch, a front porch and a double back deck. Most think we have a ranch house till they get near the home.
We call the smaller addition one our west wing. We turned the
bedroom in it to an entrance. Kept the closets for our outdoor
clothes. Removed the bathroom and made it into an office. Retained
the kitchen and use it for a canning kitchen. I also do most of our baking out there too. The living area is now my studio and leather crafting room. We have a Hitzer woodstove out there. Its our main source of heat. We have all of the wood we will ever need
here.

Garys off to sell produce down in the village today. He took
lettuces, cabbage, kale, green and yellow beans, tomatoes,
summer squashes, peppers, and black berries. He sells down there
most Saturdays from 10AM to 5PM. We also have customers who come
here for their produce and fresh laid eggs. We have bumper crops
of pears, grapes and apples this year cause of all the spring
rains last spring.
