Set yourself up a water feature in the back part of the yard. Maybe a stock feeder. Put a few plants in it. Then stock it with mosquito fish and keep it stocked. Worked for us in the old days down in Florida. The mos are attracted to the water feature. The larva are consumed by the fish. Over a month or so the populations should decline.
But this only works if you keep the fish happy.
