[MittleiderMethodGardening] Heat-Treating Seed to Eliminate Pathogens

Dr. Mittleider's preferred method of assuring seeds to not carry disease into your garden is to place seeds in the toe of a woman's pantyhose, pre-heat water to 130 degrees Fahrenheit, place the seeds in the water and maintain the temperature for 25 minutes. Remove and dry.
Some loss in germination will be experienced, but most of that is the weaker seeds.
