I want you to know right off the bat that you are the kind of Person that Organic Gardeners long to meet. For it gives us the chance to share all of our knowledge that we have acquired in playing in the dirt so that you to can play in the dirt....

   Next, and this is very important, there is no such thing as a *Dumb Question*. So you just feel free to ask what ever you want. We all have walked down the path you are now beginning so ask away. And if you don't understand something please ask for and explanation. We are here for you and your family because you are now apart of ours.

Hi. My name is Kathy and I live in Springfield, Ma. I am very new to gardening. I have to admit that I'm here to learn and hopefully I'll be able to contribute to the discussions one day.

I have chosen to plant an organic garden this year as part of my New Year's resolution to be better to the environment, feed my family nutritious foods and to learn something new. I also want to involve my son in a fun and educational form of entertainment.

So I thank you all in advance for sharing your knowledge with a novice. Here's to a successful growing season!
