Dear Jim and group,
I wish I could agree with you on the 200 PVC, ..."piece of mind and you have it forever". Here in central Texas we have this stuff called hail. It was my sad experience that 200 PVC looks like shattered eggshells after encountering Texas hail.
Make sure you drain the pipes when expecting freezes (zone 8b, gardens year round). That is the only downside I have experienced, otherwise it is the best way to go.
