Jim you could also apply and external heat source by getting a grow mat. They come in assorted sizes. They are for all practical definitions a out door heating pad. They and generate up to about 75 degrees of heat. Take it and a Bungee cord and attach it to the tumbler. You will have to unplug it when you turn the barrel but hey.

Interesting suggestion. Guess I could try it since my tumbler core temperature measurements show no improvement in the past several days anyway. It has been getting down in the 20s at night and up into the 40s in the daytime.
