[MittleiderMethodGardening] Berlan Crouch's Learning Experience in His Garden
Sorry Berlan!
Your post was HIGHLY INSTRUCTIVE for the whole group, and I hope everyone reads and RE-READS it, to get all the good lessons out of it
I continue to tell people that The Mittleider Method is a fine-tuned RECIPE, and if it is followed consistently and accurately people invariably have great gardening success.
And deviations from the instructions just as surely bring LACK of success.
With pruning, if you do it a couple of time each week, and remove the sucker stems as soon as they begin to grow you will not suffer the angst of removing lots of "good" material, and the plant will not waste energy producing extra unneeded stems, leaves, and blossoms.
I hope to see your garden next spring. Let's promote a couple of days for us to come to Southern Missouri to conduct seminars, and we'll use your garden as the "Poster Boy" of how to do it RIGHT!
