Re: [MittleiderMethodGardening] Cabbage Moth Problems
Try spraying with Green Light Worm Killer. It is the larvae that is
eating the holes in your vegetables. The product is Bacillus Thuringiensis.
Very benign and safe and I use it all of the time when I plant cole crops in
the fall. On corn the worm is known as the corn ear worm and on tomatoes
the tomato fruit worm. On geraniums the bud worm. The worm ingests the
Bacillus Thuringiensis and gets a tummy ache and stops eating and dies of
starvation. Read about it here.

I live in Logan, Utah and am having a problem with moths.
Although I don't actually have any cabbages, I recognize them as the kind
that like to eat cabbage leaves.
They are eating holes all over the cauliflower leaves, and the zucchini
leaves are starting to look like stencils with only the vein patterns left.
Even the bean leaves are starting to get holey.
I found dotted eggs under a pumpkin leaf and don't know if the culprit is
the same.
I have never had a problem like this...maybe a stray moth or two, but this
is an infestation.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
