[MittleiderMethodGardening] Re: No car, No job, No money, No insurance, No power, No phone

 

We aren't to this point yet but have a similar philosophy. For one thing, as you get older I think it's easier to weed out what is important and what isn't. We are going to build a summer kitchen with a woodstove as well as a root cellar (plans on Mother Earth) to hold more food for storage. I am intrigued by the iceless refrigerator. Any proven plans that can be shared would be appreciated. We have increased our food production each year. DH is 62 and I'm 57. We can still work circles around our kids so we are preparing for whatever comes down the pike.
