[MittleiderMethodGardening] Plum tomatoes - Blossom-End Rot = Calcium Deficiency &/or uneven watering
My garden is doing really good even in our 115 weather except my plum tomatoes...all the fruits has a black bottom.....what is going on? I have also cherry and early girl tomatoes but they are doing fine.
Peoriagarden & Group:
You need to give your tomatoes another application of Pre-Plant Mix @ 1 ounce per running foot, and mix it into the top 1-2" of soil.
Also, be certain that the soil stays moist. Especially in hot weather the plants must have lots of water in order to transpire and stay in a temperature range that allows them to live. As much as 95% of the water going into a plant will go back out to cool the plant.
